WHAT IS A HERBAL AND AYURVEDIC HEALTH CONSULTATION ?
An Ayurvedic and Herbal health consultation is an opportunity to connect with your inner wisdom and empower you to become your own healer, by assisting the body to recollect the ancient ways of our ancestors, through the wisdom of plants, food and lifestyle the body can become vital once again. I will be accessing the knowledge of Western Herbalism, plants as medicine and the science of Ayurveda to bring imbalances back into a state of balance. A typical consultation will provide a synergistic approach that is unique to your energetic body and constitution. We will work together on creating a plan that may include:
- Ayurvedic treatments (abhyanga)
- Herbal protocol of medicinal plants
- Ear acupuncture 5NP (5-needle protocol, POCA certified)
- Food as medicine
- Plant brushings
- Yoga postures + mudras
WHAT IS AYURVEDA? Thousands of years before modern medicine provided scientific evidence for the mind-body connection, the Sages of India developed Ayurveda, a powerful mind-body health system that is more then 5,000 years old. Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur=life, Veda=knowledge or science). It offers a body of wisdom designed to heal and transform the body, mind and spirit. Ayurveda is a practical lifestyle regime and personalized approach to healing, that focuses on the five elements that reside in all of us: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. These five elements make up the three constitutions Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, Daily practices of self-massage, herbs and prescribing food as medicine are typical therapies that may be suggested in order to awaken the natural wisdom within each of us. My intention is to introduce Ayurveda and Western Herbalism in a graceful manner that will support your individual lifestyle and help you blossom into your true nature!
