ORGANIC INGREDIENTS: Olive Oil, Ghee, Honey, Beeswax, Pine Resin (Picea engelmannii) Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), Comfrey Root (Symphytum officinale), Tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) and Yerba Santa ( Eriodictyon californicum)
An All Purpose salve inspired from the sacred Apus (mountain spirits) for healing elemental irritations of the skin: earth, water, fire, air and ether on the skin. Bruising (earth) stings, insect bites, burns (fire) wind burn (air/ether), dry skin (water), rash or irritated nipples. Great for diaper rash! Calendula relieves inflammation, insect bites and antimicrobial. Yarrow is for wounds and irritation. Tulsi, ruled by mercury (ether element) rashes, skin allergies, eczema, anti-microbial. Comfrey root heals sores, scars, diaper rash, windburn, psoriases, dry skin and later stages of burns. Yerba Santa reduce pain and swelling and local Colorado Pine resin seals the deal with its skin soothing remedies, yet it connects us deeper to the earth element and the wisdom of the ancestors. Ghee, or clarified butter, is beneficial for the skin due to its moisturizing properties, vitamins A, D, E, and K, and its ability to soothe irritation. This salve is a labor of love, a little goes a long way!
