Its Spring and we are entering into the season ok stocking up on our potions and filling our apothecary shelves to get us through the winter! This class is for all levels who want to feel empowered to care for their families during times of sickness.
In this class we will discuss an oxymel a traditional herbal preparation made from a mixture of honey, vinegar, herbs, and sometimes water. The word comes from the Greek oxymeli, meaning "acid and honey."
It's used in herbalism as a way to extract and preserve the beneficial properties of herbs in a form that's easy to take. Great for kids and a great alternative to alcohol tinctures.

Additional Info: Please bring a 8oz or 16oz ball jar. Feel free to bring any spring plants you want in addition. All other materials included in class cost.
